Wreath and Bulb Sale

We are excited to share that we have expanded our Annual Wreath Sale to include amaryllis bulbs! Now you can order a wreath for your door and an amaryllis bulb that will bring a little spring to your home during those cold winter months.

Our gorgeous 20" Noble Fir Wreaths feature incense cedar, juniper, ponderosa cone accents, and exceptional needle retention. They sold out last year, so you may want to get your order in early.

Each boxed amaryllis bulb kit contains indoor planting instructions and 1 bulb. Flowers bloom 8-10 weeks after planting and will be either white, maroon, pink or red. We are not able to control which color you get--so part of the fun will be waiting to see what appears!

Alex will be working with jazz students in pre-event clinics in preparation for an outstanding Jazz Night concert!

a big shout-out goes to...

Thank You, Medfield Cultural Council!

The MMA, music department, and our very fortunate orchestra students would like to express deep gratitude to the Medfield Cultural Council (MCC) for awarding a grant to help pay for last month's extraordinary Blake and MHS orchestra clinic and concert experience with The Moxie Strings. The MCC has been a steadfast friend to the Medfield music program and, with their support, the arts continue to flourish in Medfield. Thank you!

This program was supported in part by a grant from the Medfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

The MMA was ecstatic (and, frankly, floored) to recently receive a $2,500 grant from the Louis and Mary Kay Smith Family Foundation.

The grant allowed us to spread some much-needed love around the elementary school music programs. Purchases included a portable speaker system with microphones for Wheelock school--which will allow them to hold dynamic and joyful music events wherever and whenever the mood strikes--as well as new drums and other music equipment for Memorial School.

The words THANK YOU don't seem to cut it; our deepest gratitude to the Louis and Mary Kay Smith Family Foundation. We can't wait to share pictures of our youngest music students enjoying the new equipment--keep an eye on medfieldmusicassociation.com for those.

We look forward to hosting Superintendent Jeff Marsden at our next regular MMA meeting on March 3 at 7pm in the MHS band room. Dr. Marsden will kick off the session with an overview of the district budgeting process, followed by regular MMA business, including upcoming events and updates from music director Jason Bielik. All current parents welcome.

We hope to see you there!

With each purchase you receive an invitation to our exclusive Zoom Event!

At this event, you’ll “make” a plush animal with your children, grandchildren, or friend at home. Each kit ($20) comes with a polar bear or penguin, stuffing, birth certificate, and other bear-y cool things.

The kits will be delivered to you in time for our party on

Monday, February 14th

2:00 - 2:45pm

3:00 - 3:45pm

Special guest will teach children (and grownups) how to build their lovies, then we’ll read some special stories and sing a few winter-y songs. If you can’t tune in, we’ll have the recording available after the two scheduled events.
